Tour description

The historic city center of Alberobello is an Unesco World Heritage site because of its trulli (there are more than 1.500): a unique kind of building with stone conical roof that have survived quite intact and functioning into the modern world. Lots of them are still used as home and the others as restaurant, shop, tourist accommodation.
A tour to discover the history of trulli, their architecture, the mystery and symbolism of their pinnacles.
During the tour you will visit the two old districts of Trulli: Aia Piccola and Monti. We will see also a church (S. Antony) made with trulli architecture, the twin trullis and, if you like, the Trullo Sovrano (national monument) to understand how was life and furniture in the past in a typical trullo.
We can stop for a wine tasting, souvenir shopping and to take some photo of this town that seems coming our from a fairy tale.
