Tour description

Day 1
The tour starts at downtown to do the walking around colonial buildings, Mahabandoohla park, city hall, high court and see the ways of life of the busy Yangon. You will be taken to royal lake, Kandawgyi which is very popular place with locals. You can admire the Karaweik Palace, a replica of a royal boat and enjoy the stunning morning view of Shwedagon. The next spot will be Chauk-Htat-Gyi Pagoda, 70 meters long reclining Buddha image.
In the afternoon, Scot market designed by an Englishman is nice place to study how Myanmar is rich in natural resources because it is full of jewels’ shops, lacquer ware houses, paintings and Myanmar souvenirs. The last spot is now majestic Shwedagon Pagoda in the late afternoon to enjoy the sun shining on it.

Day 2

Welcome to Bagan, one of the best attractions in Myanmar. Bagan is temple city. On you arrival-
Place 1- Let’s explore the busy Nyaung U Market to see the ways of life.
Place 2- Pagoda Shwezigon built by King Anawratha and completed by King Kyanzitthar is the Bagan’s most iconic landmarks.
Place 3- Temple Ananda built in 1091 is considered the masterpiece of Bagan’s surviving Mon architecture. There are four 9.5 meter tall teak standing Buddha images.
Place 4- In the afternoon, A visit to Myinkabar village will make you alert after lunch to see the thriving lacquer ware industry with around a dozen family workshops and showrooms.
Place 5- Pagoda Shwesandaw is the most popular sunset-viewing spot on the site and attracts the crowds of visitors and postcard sellers toward the end of the day.

Day 3

After breakfast, the tour will continue to Mt. Popa, Nat House (spirit). This 737 meter high plateau is a popular local pilgrimage’s spot and 50 km away from Bagan. The walk up takes around 30 minutes and end at Buddhist shrines complex. A covered walkway lined with stalls selling religious souvenirs. You will be relax after seeing the breathtaking view with 360 degree panorama across the central plain region up to the mountain ranges.
On the way back to Bagan, learn about the local’s daily life, observe the process of traditional lacquer ware, one the best-known handicrafts. After the excursion you will be transferred to your hotel in Bagan for the second night stay.
