My name is Emiliano Tufano, I was born in Pompeii, and I still live here where my family lives sice generations.
I graduated in Archaeology at the University of Naples, with a thesis on the obsidian prehistoric tools from the Island of Pantelleria.

I am currentely engaged in a PhD at the Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen in Germany, with a thesis on the Copper Age in Sicily.

Archaeology is, therefore, my profession and my passion. In 2010 I took the licence to work as a Tour Guide of the Campania Region, and today I offer guided tours in Italian, English and Spanish.

Working with people makes me very happy because I can compare myself with people having diverse cultures, and at the same time I'm proud to show them the beauty of my region.
