Tour description
One of the most beautiful museums of Rome where the splendor of the structure itself rivals the magnificence of the works of art on display.
Commissioned in the 16th century by Cardinal Scipione Borghese to house his famous collection of paintings and statues, this museum still retains the atmosphere and charm of a private villa. The famous statuary groups by Bernini and the paintings by Raphael, Titian and Caravaggio are a singular testimony to the love of art and the passion for collecting .
