Tour description
Jeita Caves are know as being the biggest caves in Lebanon, made of Karst.
-Jeita Caves: the Jeita grotto is made of two separate but interconnected karstic limestone caves (length 9km), located in Nahr el Kalb Valley within the locality of jeita
Our visit begins with the superior Cave , we take a small cabin lift then walk in the cave where you have a panoramic view of stalagmites stalagtites, you can see the work of mother nature (rain drops on the rocks) with its effect , draperies, curtains, galleries..
then we visit the inferior cave in a small boat where you have a small lake and river of jeita.
- Byblos (Jbeil known as among the oldest city in the ancient world) with its monuments, byblos the roman, the byzantin, the arab, the crusader..
we will visit the crusaders castle, the souks, the cathedral of St John-Marc , then the harbor, fossil museum..
- Harissa we will visit the Shrine of the Virgin Mary( with the cabin lifts) a Maronite sanctuary overlooking the bay of Jounieh.
