You are more than welcome to our colourful Turkey, the best destination to work as a guide. There is so much to do and see even for me. Therefore, I love my job. Having become a tour guide, I enjoy more and more of the natural and historical treasures of Turkey – from the Roman chariot races at the ancient Istanbul’s Hippodrome to the frescoes of the troglodyte churches in fairy Cappadocia. I am so proud of my beautiful country and it will be an honour for me to show all its aspects to you my fellow guests.

What I offer
With my 13 years of guiding expertise I provide;

1.Private guiding and detailed city tours (on foot and/or transport based) in Istanbul and any other Turkish cities of interest.

2.Daily tours covering the most prominent sights in Istanbul for a time and cost effective trip. Please scroll down for further details on each Istanbul tour below.

-Highlights of Istanbul: Visit Istanbul’s top sights situated at the Sultanahmet Square.

-Imperial Istanbul: Combine Topkapi and Dolmabahce Palaces in a day.

-Bosphorus Cruise: Explore the wonders of the world's narrowest strait on a private boat.

-Art Nouveau Istanbul: Walk the exquisite district of Istiklal Avenue.

-Markets of Medieval Istanbul: Discover the vibrant market streets and arcades of the old town.

-Across the Continents: Tour the Genoise Karakoy in Europe, ride a public ferry onto the Phenocian Kadikoy in Asia, view Istanbul from Camlica Hill and cross the bosphorus bridge on the way back.

-Religious Heritage: Embrace the diversity of faiths at the notable mosques, churches and cynagogues.

-Istanbul Archaeology Museums: Visit Istanbul’s imperial museum complex.

3.Cultural and walking tours in Cappadocia region. It is such an incredible landscape therefore a perfect destination for bird watching and botanical trips, too.

Moreover;

-I can tailor all kinds of historical, cultural, folkloric, culinary, archeological, art history and faith tours depending on your interests. I can legally and effectively guide you at ALL the sights, sanctuaries, national parks, cultural centers and museums in Turkey as well as the Gallipoli and Anatolian war memorials. I can put together special iteneraries and arrange tour services in the Biblical Eastern, Agean Sea, Black Sea, Mediterranean, Mesopotamian, Cappadocian and Central Anatolian Regions upon your request. My services are in English.

I will be happy to meet you anywhere convenient such as the airport or hotel lobby. I can arrange air conditioned private transportation in Istanbul upon your request. We can always take a taxi as well since the fees are at very reasonable deals in Istanbul. When possible, I recommend using public tranportation in Istanbul because it is very effective, cheap and saves us a lot of time in the city traffic. It is also an added experience to your visit since the tram network of Istanbul operates since 1871 and the city owns the second oldest tube in the world.

My Background, Licenses and certificates
I was born in Ankara in 1979. I am a keen freelance professional tour guide working all around Turkey and Istanbul for 12 years. I am a well seasoned traveler as well. Matter of fact, I can understand how it feels to be abroad. My mission is not only to introduce Turkey but also help my clients for all their needs with the best I can so that I make sure they have a perfect, problem free and memorable visit.

I have been guiding for major international tour companies such as the leading British tour operators Explore and Exodus and Overseas Adventure Travel, the biggest small group tour operator in the USA since 2001. In 2008, I was deemed to deserve Explore’s “tour leader of the year” award in the Local Knowledge category among hundreds of tour guides all around the world. I guide mostly for the commonwealth but, in my career, I also worked with all the nations from Europe visiting every corner in Turkey.
