A long tour from Reykjavík capital to the south-east part of Iceland along the beautiful southern shoreline of Iceland to the magical glacial lagoon, Jökulsárlón (1 1/2 stop at the lagoon). We will pass some small charming villages as well as Seljalandsfoss waterfall, Skógafoss waterfall and Skaftafell national park (about30 min stop at the national park), which is dominated by Vatnajökull, Europe´s largest ice cap with the highest peak of the island, Hvannadalshnjúkur (2111m). From Skaftafell we continue the tour to Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon. You will see amazing blocks of ice that have broken off Europe’s biggest glacier, Vatnajökull. These blocks of ice are drifting slowly towards the ocean, which is not far away. We can take a boat tour on the lagoon in the summertime . After the visit to the lagoon we head back to Reykjavík.Things to take along on a trip like this would be:

good hiking shoes, camera, warm outdoor clothing, waterproof jacket and pants. Remember that Icelandic weather can change suddenly without prior warning.

Please note: Boat tours are operating from May 20 – September 15.

Not included in the price is lunch, dinner and the boat tour on Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon when operating.

please note:
private (exclusive) tour in a comfortable car that suits each season
