Tour description

We can start the tour heading Lisbon's Cathedral, and then we'll go for a walk, exploring Alfama. On our way up we can visit St Jorge castle, which offers a great view over the whole city.
Then our walk is much easier, as we just need to go downhill, exploring Alfama, the oldest quarter of Lisbon. From here we'll go to Comércio Square, see the river from closer, cross the triumph archway, Rua Augusta. . . and we are in Rossio square, the heart of Lisbon.
There we can have lunch and feel the atmosphere of the city.
After lunch, let's go to Belém area, where we'll visit the St Jerome monastery, the Tower of Belém (both declared world heritage by Unesco), the monument to the discoverers and maybe try the traditional sweets from there.
Going back, we'll pass under the 25th April bridge, Marques of Pombal statue, and cross the Avenida da Liberdade.
And if you still have time, we can go to Chiado area, where you can have some free time to explore our glamorous shops before going back to the ship!
